Cristian Gonzalez.

My nickname is Gonzi as you may have heard on zoom class. I am from Miami and have lived there since I was born up until now. I currently live in Tallahassee and I attend Florida State Universty. Once I transsferred from a community college from Miami called Miami Dade College, I immediately joined the FSU Rugby team. Due to Covid, our season has been put on hold till spring. My favorite hobbies are fishing and working out. I am a Criminology major, minoring in Education and my future plan is to enter law enforcement and work my way up to a FWC officer. Once I retire from law enforcement, I want to be a professor and teach criminology. When it comes to technology, I use the computer a lot and at my current job I update our databases so we always use technology and even in my last college and High School we used various technological programs within the curriculum. In Miami Dade College, I used a lot of their research databases to write essays and research different topics and studies. Those were my main networking resources as well as CNN and other news networks. My Learning needs and goals are to improve as an analyzer when it comes to reading articles and recognizing the main points of the material. My learning goal is to improve as a student, improve my writing skills, to finish all of  my classes with straight As, nothing less.

  1. Hi Gonzi, wow! you are a high achiever! You have a very clear goal for your future, too. You may want to think about building your PLN for law enforcement/FWC officer. Other than your school, where do you go to find some useful information and knowledge about the job you want to enter. Do you participate in any online communities or organization? Do you interact with people in those communities? What other spaces do you go to connect with people to get knowledge and resources about Criminology? You can think about this to understand the concept of PLN. As we learn some technologies to build a teacher PLN in this class, you will get some ideas for your existing PLNs as well.
